Removing unwanted label format data

About this topic

This topic describes how to delete one or more fields from a label format or clear the label format entirely.

Before you start

If you have not already done so, complete the following steps:

1	Open Microplate Labeler Diagnostics.	Opening Diagnostics
2	Ensure the profile for your device is initialized.	Initializing the device in diagnostics
3	In the Label Editor tab, load the label format that you want to modify.	Loading a label format in the Label Editor

Deleting a field

To delete a field:

1	In the Label Editor tab, right-click the field in the Label Editor preview box.

2	In the shortcut menu that appears, choose Delete field.

Clearing a label

To clear a label of its contents:

1	In the Label Editor tab, right-click in the Label Editor preview box.

2	In the shortcut menu that appears, choose Clear label.

All of the data in the Label Editor tab disappears.
