Adjusting the feed path of the ribbon

Rarely, ribbon wrinkling can lead to print image errors. This topic describes how to make minor adjustments to the feed path of the ribbon.

Procedure

 

This adjustment should be performed during printing.

To set the feed path of the transfer ribbon:

1	Read the current setting on the scale (1) and record, if necessary.

2	Turn the screw (2) using a hex wrench and observe the behavior of the ribbon.

To tighten the inner edge of the ribbon turn in the + direction. To tighten the outer edge of the ribbon, turn in the - direction.
