Disconnecting the air tubing

This topic explains how to disconnect the air tubing without damaging the air input connector.
Before moving or shipping the Microplate Labeler you must disconnect the air tubing. You may also want to do this before performing maintenance or cleaning the device.
Before you begin
 
*To avoid injury, turn off the air supply before disconnecting the air tubing. When air is flowing, air tubing can injure you if it whips around and strikes you. If you have not been trained in the correct way to handle air tubing, contact your facilities department.
 
 
*Follow the directions in this topic to correctly disconnect the air tubing from the Microplate Labeler air supply port in order to avoid damage to the device.
