Running a process using Diagnostics software

For protocol development and troubleshooting purposes, you can use Vertical Pipetting Station Diagnostics to run a process in real time. In Vertical Pipetting Station Diagnostics, click the Processes tab.

In the Shelves area, select the target Shelf.

Note: To add labware to the list, click Open labware editor, and use the Labware Editor.

In the Well Selection area, verify that the target wells are selected. You can select from 1 to 4 quadrants of the plate.
Click a well to select the corresponding quadrant. Green highlights the selected wells.
Alternatively, right-click the graphic to display a shortcut menu, and select the desired Select wells or Clear wells command.

In the Command Parameters area:

Select the process from the Command to execute list.

IMPORTANT If you must stop a process before completion, click Stop motors to stop the pipette head movement.
