Main Protocol, Bravo Subprocess
If you want to control the target temperature for a Heating Shaking Station accessory without regard to which labware is on the station, see Set Temperature - Position (Agilent Bravo).
Requirements
To use the Set Temperature task, you must first configure a Heating Shaking Station accessory in Bravo Diagnostics. The software considers any heating or shaking accessory controlled by an Inheco STC or MTC Controller to be a Heating Shaking Station accessory, for example, the Peltier Thermal Station (CPAC).
Task parameters
After adding the Set Temperature task at the desired point in the protocol, set the following parameters in the Task Parameters area:

Parameter
Description
Location, plate
The process or static labware involved in the task.
Location, location
The deck location of the Heating Shaking Station accessory.
If more than one Heating Shaking Station accessory is on the deck, select the specific deck location instead of <auto-select>.
Note: Temperature control will not commence or terminate until the labware is in place.
Turn off temperature
The option to use the Set Temperature task to turn off the temperature control. If this option is not selected, the task will start temperature control.
Temperature
The target temperature (°C) for the accessory to achieve during this task.
Wait
The option to wait until the accessory achieves the target temperature within the specified tolerance before the task completes. Subsequent tasks in the same subprocess cannot execute until this task completes.
If this option is not selected, the software considers the task completed as soon as the temperature control turns on or off successfully.
Temperature tolerance
The acceptable range (°C) above and below the specified target temperature still considered to be the target temperature.
Timeout
The duration (minutes) to wait for the temperature to reach the specified target temperature within the specified tolerance.
Allow concurrent operation
